Mondelez International, as part of its ‘This is Wholesome’ campaign, launched a number of 30-second commercials for Honey Maid, one of which features a gay couple.
Sadly this commercial saw a huge anti-gay backlash across social media, in particular from groups like One Million Moms and the American Decency Association.
In response to these homophobic messages, Mondelez released another video called ‘Love’. They acquired the help of two female artist who turn the hate message around.
